WYSIWYG Editing

Perhaps the single most attractive feature of Joomla! and other content management systems (CMS) -- particularly for "ordinary users" -- is WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") editing.

Users can edit webpage content without the need to directly use HTML markup. An editing tool incorporated in the content management systems (CMS) adds the necessary HTML tags "behind the scenes." The user works directly in an interface that renders the content according to the HTML markup, using an editing toolbar.
