Graphic Designers

Chicago is rich in graphic designers, and Arc customarily teams with a graphic designer in the course of website development. Sometimes clients rely on an existing relationship with a graphic designer, and Arc comes on board to tackle the technical challenges. Other times, we team with one of our preferred partners to pitch a project jointly.

Arc works closely with graphic designers to make optimum use of the many Joomla templates and other website templates now available, wherever possible.

Home of the Internet Browser

It's important to remember that the computer in general, and the Internet in particular, were not graphic experiences before certain innovations that came out of the Chicago area. Marc Andreesen invented the first Internet browser -- Mosaic -- at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) (UIUC). (UIUC has a venerable computer science program.) Marc, of course, went on to found Netscape, and, with the birth of the Internet browser, the Internet boom was off and running.
